My occupation is currently an e-learning developer, but I have always been an artist in my heart since childhood. I have tried to maintain a blog in various ways since 2001, but haven’t been able to keep myself motivated – largely because I think I have been trying to structure it too much. I have been considering dropping my whole site entirely, but somehow feel the need to try again this year.

In an effort to rekindle the blog spark, I am going to have it be more casual. This blog will have sporadic postings – sometime may merely have a photo or art work posted without any text, sometimes just highlighting past stuff I am thinking of at the time.  Some of it will be “finished” work, some of it will just be quick snapshots or doodles. I can tell you that I will try to post at least once a week  on Wednesday or Thursday and will have more on weeks I am feeling the blog vibe or not incredibly busy.

I have a wide variety of interest in creativity, so you may see anything on here. I like drawing, painting, photography, graphics, web design, elearning, writing, and any number of other creative endeavors that other people are exploring also.

IMPORTANT: I would like to know if you actually like any of this. Post a comment on one of my posts (no comments on this page). If I know there are actual people viewing this blog, I may convince myself to keep it up. To be fair, I should warn you that I am monitoring all comments before they are posted. I had a vicious attack a while back that put porn on a previous blog and I have also been spammed personally and professionally too much with links to various ad sites. Do not include a link on your post or name, I will likely not post it if there is. Straight legitimate comments only please. And….it may be a day or two before I get around to reviewing and approving a comment, so please don’t think the worst of me. I work many hours and I tend to ignore personal things when I am in the zone.

P.S. TO THE GENEROUS KINDRED SPIRITS AMONG YOU:  If you like what you see, please consider donating a few bucks to the cost of webspace (button at right). You don’t need a Paypal account, you can use a regular credit or debit card when you click the button. Hate to ask this, but it is one thing that makes me pause when I am thinking of whether to renew the site every year. Thanks so much if you are able to do so. Every little bit counts nowadays!
